ABOUT ME
My name is Josh Massaro. I am a Highlands Ranch portrait photographer.
Originally from Upstate New York (go Bills!) I now live in Highlands Ranch with my wife (who I met at Target, true story) and our two boys. I moved here almost twenty years ago and can't imagine living anywhere else. The mountains, the weather, the people. I love it; especially that last one: the people. Connection. Meeting new people is one of the great pleasures in life. There are few things as exciting as nurturing a new relationship with another human being. It's rarely boring and often fascinating. Think about how wonderful it is to tell someone your own personal story and have the audience be genuinely interested without glancing at their phone every seven seconds. It's refreshing. It's human. It's therapeutic. |
So about me. I learned photography with the film camera that took the picture on the right. That's me! Look at how excited I was to see it! One day my father would eventually give me that camera, and the rest is history.
After years of being an amateur photographer I finally decided it was time to start my own business. I currently cover multiple recurring annual events. I've had images published with The Denver Post and the Colorado Springs Business Journal. I've dabbled in many genres of photography over the years: landscape, event, macro, astro, product, you name it. But there's only one that truly fills me with the joy of life that I am looking for, and that's portraiture. I love connecting with people personally to help them capture memories and moments that can be enjoyed together for years to come, and make them look good in the process. One of my favorite aspects of this business is coming back to a client's home and seeing my work on their walls. I instantly feel like I'm part of their family. Let me be a part of your family. Let's make that family photo you've always wanted! Look at that empty space on your wall. What would you like to see there? Let's have a chat and talk about what I can do to help.
